How to Maybe Avoid a Car Accident

A call recently from a patient who had been hit from behind by another vehicle prompts us to write this article.

She had been driving to work on the freeway during rush hour when the traffic speed quickly reduced from moving along OK to zero mph. As often happens, she was rear-ended because the vehicle behind her did not see that the traffic had come to a stop. Whether she would have had time to quickly tap her emergency flashers on, forewarning the car in back and thus avoiding the hit, we do not know. We do know that there have been many times my wife and I have been in similar circumstances, had enough time and inclination to tap the switch, and felt relief that the cars in back were alerted to the stopped traffic ahead and braked in time. We have never been hit from behind.

Just lucky? Maybe. Maybe not, and our little trick has worked as planned. We pass it to you for your consideration of using it and maybe avoiding injury and the hassle of vehicle repairs and insurance matters.

If you are not so lucky and are in an accident some day, or know someone who has been injured in a collision, please consider scheduling a consultation and possibly care with us. Our patients have been very helpful in creating testimonials and telling others how much our care has helped them recover from injuries; from collisions, sports injuries, on-the-job injuries, lifting mishaps, slips and falls, you name it. Our web site has a page of patient testimonials as well as a page of information for those who have been injured in car accidents. Take a look:  Auto Accident Injuries
